Biodiversity Conservation for Rural Development-Ug

BCRD-Uganda, a CBO was founded by like-minded community development practitioners. Some of the founder members have worked in the Central Albertine Rift Region for over 10 years, mobilizing and facilitating smallholder farmers and indigenous Pygmies to form cohesive groups, practice sustainable agriculture, natural resource management, apiculture and other alternative livelihood options BCRD-Uganda was legally registered in May 2008 with Kisoro District Local Government.
